Just a quick update on the Weimaraner Foster dog. He was absolutely a wonderful dog, we loved him and he was great with kids, people, etc. He just could not handle being left alone. We had to take him back to the rescue. They wanted him to be with a family that did not have work during the day. They were afraid he would hurt himself. I think he was just scared of being left because he had been moved so many times over the last week. So we do miss him and are now waiting for the next dog that needs our help.
Also, want to mention to all of you to keep my sister, Barbara in your prayers. She leave this week on her mission trip to Africa.
This past weekend we went to my nephew's high school basketball game. It is his senior year and we have not been able to make it to many of his games, but this was one I was glad we did not miss. It's been a long time since I got so excited watching a basketball game. I found myself cheering and yelling and stomping on the bleachers. Reminded me of my high school cheerleading days. This game was neck and neck till the very end. We got to see Garrett score some points and help his team win this very close game. We love watching him play.

After the game we all had to go out and celebrate by eating some Tex-Mex with all the family and friends. It was lots of fun.
The rest of the weekend was a blur, we had so much to do and so many places to be...I don't like it when life keeps me going in different directions. I was able to take a little bit of time and read an article from my Intouch Ministries magazine. It said something that really spoke to me. I will quote it exactly " One of Satan's primary tactics is to entice us to become so wrapped up in what's going on around us that we fail to map out a clear course to follow for the future." I challenge you all to think about this....I know I am already.
