Spring Break

Spring Break is now almost over and I thought I would put a few things out there that we did this week. It was very nice to have a break from school and going to Dance every night of the week. I did take a few days off from work and Jay did take a few days off as well. Early this week on Sunday, we did celebrate a family birthday. Aunt Stephanie's!! We went out for lunch and birthday sweets!! We always have a great time together.
Here is Aunt Stephanie with Andrea and Kimberly.

My nephew Garrett,as you know is a senior this year. He is turning 18 in a few weeks and he got his birthday present and graduation present early from his parents.

Isn't this SWEET!!

I told Garrett he needed to live at home & stay in school for as long as possible. He agreed. He is planning to attend Texas A&M in the fall. He is such a great kid!!

I pondered on what to do with the girls for a few days during spring break. Andrea did want to take some extra dance classes during the day. That worked out well. Kimberly and I went to the library during that time. Kimberly got her very own library card and was so excited to sign it herself. She then got to use the computers there to play games so she was happy for awhile. It was funny when she was choosing her books, she choose two books that happened to be by the same author. They were both books about a little girl taking Ballet. Kimberly even surprised her self with her choices when I pointed out to her they were about the same little girl. I do think she is getting more and more interested in dance. She looks up to her big sister so much.

We also went to the Harbour and had lunch and did a little shopping. The girls loved it and had fun playing in the fountain there - fully clothed!! It was quite fun to watch them play together.

They had a great time!!

Jay has also taken them fishing and riding on his boat. They loved it but they all came back sunburned. Kimberly was so excited about playing with the minnows that she thought she could show her friend when she got home. She was quite upset to find out Jay had dumped them in the lake. Andrea was the first and only one to catch a fish that day. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of this. They had a great time with their dad though.

We had so much fun with the girls this week and wish it could continue. Now time to get back to reality this next week.
