Kimberly 1st Grade Program

Kimberly had her First Grade Program last night. She has been talking about it for weeks. They were learning some folk dances and last night they showed off what they learned. The biggest part of the night was choosing the outfit. It was so cold here that we had a hard time finding a dress to wear. She was determined to wear a dress. Then we pulled this sequined top out of her closet that she forgot she had and she put the rest together. She thought she was HOT Stuff let me tell you! Here is a picture of the outfit.



We get to the school and all the little girls are squealing with excitement. Kimberly immediately found two friends in her class. Here they are anxiously awaiting the teacher to line them up in the music room.



Once they allow the kids to come into the gym where all the parents are waiting to get those once in lifetime pictures of their sweet little children. The kids are just beaming with the excitement of the performance. I got a few pictures before it began. You can see she is pretty excited.



Then she got to choose a partner for a dance and of course it was her big sister. She was so excited that she got to dance with her. I do think Andrea loved it too. I did get some video of that - but I messed it up and it did not turn out to well. Here is picture of them after they danced. Then there is a picture of Kimberly performing with her group.
